Digital Video Creation - How to Use the RCA Small Wonder Camcorder For Movie Magic Creation

Technology gets better and better for the end consumer each month it seems. You can now create video magic anywhere you go and share with the world with just a few simple tools.

Capture your videos fast and simple. Edit the videos seamlessly and with ease.

Does that sound like a dream? Not with the RCA Small Wonder camcorder.

With this portable video camcorder, it isn't hard to create great videos and edit with graphics and transitions to show off your new, ma d video creation skills. It's just plug and play really. It really is that easy. That's why I love it. What's even better is that you can do all virtually problem-free.

Once you open the box , everything in included, even the batteries. There's other tools other than may make your video making more steady viewing such as purchasing a tri-pod or mono-pod.

Before you jump into editing phase, make sure you either have Windows Movie Maker software or Pinnacle Video Spin video editing software's which both are free to download and use.

If you are running a PC you will most likely have Window Movie Maker built in and will do just fine.

There is a built-in software called the RCA camera called Media Manager that's included within the device.

All you have to do is plug in the camera in the USB port and it will ask if you'd like to download the software.

Make sure that you upgrade the software with the latest version.

Okay, so here's how to get working the right way with amazing editing effects

After you capture your footage, downloaded the files into your computer. You can keep the raw video files with in the memory card but that will take up space. I prefer to download all the files onto my hard drive, create the clips to the final product and dump all the saved footage away.

Your video will be in the RCA media manager saved folder section.

Now you can open up your Windows movie maker and open up new project. Simply copy and paste the video clips from your saved folder. Cut and trim your footage with transitions that you want. Change the length of your desired video clip by cutting it where you wish and pasting it together. Make the video long or short.

Save the footage and render it in the quality video file of your choice. I choose the best quality for viewing.

Presto, the final, edited file can be burned onto a DVD for your viewing pleasure.

You can easily upload your final clip onto the many video hosting sites out there.

As you can see, the process is actually quite simple and fun. Get creative and enjoy your movie magic.
